What we collect ourselves
Nothing that identifies you. This is a static website with no user accounts, no comment system and no contact form. If you email us, we obviously hold that email until the conversation is finished.
Browser storage
If you pick a language from the switcher, we store that choice in your browser’s localStorage under "preferredLang" so the homepage can send you there next time. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.
GetYourGuide
Pages load GetYourGuide’s widget and analytics script so the live availability boxes work and so bookings are attributed to us. That script is served by GetYourGuide and may set its own cookies and record that you arrived from this site. Their privacy policy governs what they do with it.
Trip.com
Accommodation links point to Trip.com. We do not load their scripts on our pages; only when you click through does their own tracking apply, under their privacy policy.
Google Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google’s font CDN, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. That request includes your IP address, as any web request does.
Hosting logs
Our host keeps standard server access logs (IP address, time, page requested, user agent) for security and troubleshooting. They are not used to build profiles and are not shared.
Your rights
Because we hold almost nothing, there is usually nothing to export or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and we will remove it. For data held by GetYourGuide, Trip.com or Google, contact them directly — they are the controllers for what they collect.
Children
This site is a travel guide intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
