Who we work with
SidiBouSaid.com participates in the GetYourGuide partner programme (partner id HDG7VLX) for tours, tickets and activities, and intends to work with Trip.com for accommodation. Links to those two sites are affiliate links.
What that means for you
If you click one of those links and make a booking, the company pays us a small percentage of their own margin. Your price is exactly the same as it would be if you had gone to the site directly and typed the name in yourself. We never add a fee, and we never see your payment details.
How we choose what to recommend
We rank by who a tour or a hotel actually suits — length, price tier, group size, mobility, whether you have seen Carthage already. Commission rates across these products are broadly similar, so there is no meaningful incentive to push one over another, and a booking that disappoints you is worth nothing to us: it gets refunded, and you never come back.
What we do not accept
No paid placements, no paid rankings, no sponsored posts written to look like guides, and no free tours in exchange for coverage. If that ever changes, it will be labelled clearly on the page in question.
Prices and availability
We deliberately do not hard-code tour prices, ratings or hotel rates, because they change constantly and a stale number is worse than no number. Every card links out to the live listing, where the price, the reviews and the cancellation terms are the operator’s own.
Your booking is with them, not us
We are a guide, not a travel agency. Contracts, vouchers, changes, cancellations and refunds are between you and GetYourGuide, Trip.com or the operator. We cannot access, alter or cancel your reservation.
How links are marked
Outbound commercial links carry rel="sponsored" in the page source, and open in a new tab. Where a whole section is commercial — the tour cards, the hotel cards — we say so in the surrounding text.
